Refund Policy

General Policy

Guerrero Insurance processes refunds in accordance with the terms of the applicable insurance policy/Issuing Agency and relevant Utah insurance laws and regulations.

Because insurance products are regulated and often underwritten by third-party carriers, refund eligibility and amounts may vary depending on the policy type and carrier guidelines.

Premium Refunds

Refunds may be issued in situations including, but not limited to:

  • Policy cancellation in accordance with policy terms

  • Overpayment of premiums

  • Policy changes resulting in a premium credit

Any applicable administrative or earned premium amounts may be deducted as permitted by law and the insurance carrier.

Non-Refundable Fees

Certain fees may be non-refundable, including:

  • Policy issuance or administrative fees

  • Fees already earned for services provided

  • Third-party processing fees

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

  • Policyholder name

  • Policy number

  • Reason for the refund request

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, generally within 30 business days, or as otherwise required by applicable Utah insurance regulations or carrier guidelines.

Chargebacks

If you have questions or concerns regarding billing, we encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can attempt to resolve the issue promptly.
